Why is my inverter data not showing up in the Connect app?

For certain configurations, SHYFT integrates with your inverter OEM’s API to receive data about your inverter. This means your inverter OEM gathers data and then releases it periodically to a service that SHYFT Connect requests the data from. Information from inverters is made available on your SHYFT Connect dashboard typically within 5 - 20 minutes based on how quickly the information is made available to SHYFT Connect Cloud by the OEM. However, if the data is delayed or missing from the OEM service, then you may find that the inverter data in SHYFT Connect could be out of date in some instances.

In some cases, SHYFT is able to take further measures to see that historical data that may have been missing is retrieved from the OEM's platform and then made available to you through the SHYFT dashboard. This backfill process, where available, runs automatically every 1-2 days.
